Suspect was arrested and taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on tentative charges of Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

A 15-year old Madison girl was punched repeatedly in the face, scratched, kicked, and had her hair pulled during an attack on a Madison Metro bus Tuesday evening. Following the assault, the suspect was ordered off of the bus near West Towne Mall. The victim was able to identify her, and police later arrested the 14-year old at her home. The suspect told officers she believes the victim told a lie about one of her family members. "I saw her (on the bus), so I fought her," she explained.
