1800 blk Camelot Dr.


The MPD has taken information on two additional cases that may be related to the arsons. A 36-year old man reported that windows of his car were broken out around the same time period. It was parked in the 5400 block of Lake Mendota Dr., very near Camelot Dr. An axe was located next to the car. It did not belong to the car's owner.

A citizen also alerted the MPD to a tree in Everglade Park, 406 Everglade Dr., that appeared to have been set on fire. The man, who lives nearby, thought this would have likely happened in the early morning hours of the 27th. The tree's trunk was burned as was some grass at its' base.

During the early morning hours someone doused two evergreen trees (in separate yards) with gasoline and ignited them. In the same area a "take a book-leave a book" stand was also burned. It appears that the suspect or suspects used the books to start the blaze. The incidents appear to be related.
