DetailsOn 6/28/2013, at 11:42 am, Madison Police responded to a 911 disconnect near the area of the 10 block of Mt. Vernon Court, where the dispatcher reported hearing the sound of a faint female voice saying "My father shot my mother." Police quickly moved into the area, alerting Madison Fire Rescue to standby, as officers were preparing for a significant event or injury. Police checked in and around the area, neighboring streets, and several residences that were in close proximity to the area where the plotted call came from, and found nothing. No gunshot victim was ever located, nor did police ever determine the origin of the call to the 911 Center. This call generated a lot of interest, but police extended a number of resources to make a determination of where an injured party might be without success.
