Address2600 N. Sherman Avenue
ArrestedNebuchanezaar A. Wright, 31-year-old male of Madison, WI
CHARGES: Disorderly Conduct (2 counts) and Possession Of Cocaine
DetailsMadison Police responded to 1423 Northport Drive, at approximately 1:44pm, reference a person saying, "Get the police here now." After police responded, they determined that Nebuchanezzar Wright had entered the Shell Gas Station, and made threats to kill the clerk; as he was upset over the fact that his cell phone was not functional. Wright took off his shirt, came behind the counter to spit on the clerk, and began taking items off of shelves. Wright eventually left the store without anyone being harmed, and just before police arrived.
Shortly after 3:47pm, Madison Police noticed two subjects about to fight in the 2600 block of N. Sherman Avenue. Wright was seen as the aggressor, as he proceeded to spit directly into this victim's face. Wright did not cooperatively deal with police after being told he was under arrest, and an electronic control device (Taser) was threatened before Wright would comply. A search of Wright's property produced remnants of Marijuana and a small bag of Cocaine. Wright was conveyed to The Dane County Jail.
