DetailsMadison Police responded reference an intoxicated male that was propped up against a wall, and the caller was concerned. The Madison Fire Department did respond to see if medical attention was required, and when police arrived, they attempted to find out where the very inebriated Jacob Pederson should be in order that he besafe. Pederson attempted to walk away from police with clenched fists, and officers thought Pederson was attempting to attack the fire fighters that had just assisted him. He refused to answer any questions reference his identity or give information reference a responsible party to take care of him, and it was clear that his inebriated state was a problem.
Officers took Pederson into custody, as he continued to berate them, using a variety of inappropriate statements and continuously pulling away from their grasp. Pederson was taken to The Dane County Jail, where he attempted to kick a Deputy during the booking process. A concerned party called a short time later to locate Pederson, as she left him for five minutes. Her plan was to pick him up and take him home.
