Incident Report for Case #2013-206058

Incident Type

Incident Date

07/09/2013 - 12:00 AM

3000 Block Of Darbo Drive

Iris M. Hoske, 18-year-old female of Madison, WI
CHARGES: Disorderly Conduct While Armed & Unlawful Trespassing

20-year-old female

Officers were on foot patrol in the Darbo Worthington Neighborhood, when they contacted two females; who happened to be on the property that was signed for no trespassing.  Based on the late hour, officers advised the two females to move along.  Minutes later, police were contacted by a 20-year-old victim, who described a female that had threatened her with a gun and a knife.  Officer's retraced their movements, to find the female they had just contacted, and located the suspect near Clyde Gallagher and Darbo Drive.

As Hoske was being approached, she began to walk away from officers, but they quickly closed the gap.  They immediately found a facsimile gun in the waistband of Hoske, but did not locate the knife that was described.  This entire scenario was about a Chicago Bulls hat, and the fact that Hoske had allegedly taken it from another party.  While the gun was not real, using the item as a means of threatening another person is illegal, and people should pay close attention to the many dangers that could arise from such an action.  Hoske was conveyed to The Dane County Jail.
