DetailsOn 08/17/13, the Madison Police responded to an attempted robbery in the 300 block of N. Paterson St. The victim indicated that he came across one of the suspects who was yelling in the middle of the street. As the victim went to investigate, he was suddenly struck in the face by the second suspect. The other then joined in and demanded money from the victim. The victim was able to fight off both suspects.
Although no weapon was seen, one of the suspects did threaten to retrieve a gun nearby. The victim continued to defend himself and eventually chased the suspects away. Both suspects were last seen traveling northbound on N. Paterson St.
