A witness reported seeing several shots fired following a road-rage incident that started on S. Stoughton Rd. early Sunday morning. The 35-year old Mount Horeb man was a passenger in a car being driven by a friend. They were on their way back from the Wisconsin Dells, and he believes must have accidently cut-off the driver of a dark colored SUV as they drove south on Stoughton Rd. He says the angry suspect fired several rounds from the driver's side window, and he could see muzzle flashes. At the intersection with E. Washington Ave., the suspect got out of the SUV and the victims observed he had a handgun at his side. They called for police as he sped off.
