Burglary victims' utilized tracking software to recover two stolen iPads after their west side business was found burglarized Sunday morning. A criminal gained entry by throwing a rock was through a window at You Move Me, 5321 Old Middleton Rd. The electronics and money were stolen. One iPad was recovered after it was found abandoned in the 4800 block of E. Washington Ave.

A store owner had locked both using an online account. The procedure produces a screen message on each iPad stating it had been lost. It also provides a phone number to call, which in this case was the owner's number. He actually got a call from a person possessing the second stolen iPad. The suspect arranged to sell it back to the victim for $250. A rendezvous at a Park St. area location was arranged Sunday afternoon.

Of course, when the suspect showed up with the iPad, it was not just the victim waiting for him, but police. He claimed to have purchased the iPad from another man, and was arrested for receiving stolen property.
