600 W Washington Ave (Bike path)


Male, white, 20-23 years old, 5'10"-6'1", light and patchy facial hair, gruff & commanding voice, dark jeans, dark windbreaker, dark knit stocking cap.


Male, age 21, Madison


The 21-year old student was also robbed of his laptop computer. He told responding officers that the robber fled south on the bike path, and he last saw him turning toward Regent St. A K9 was brought in to track the criminal, but he was not found.

The victim was walking on the bike path when he was confronted by the suspect, who displayed a knife.  The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.  The victim was not injured.
