A Janesville man was arrested for pointing a loaded handgun at another driver following a road rage incident on the West Beltline Highway yesterday afternoon.

The other driver,  a 19-year old Madison man, told police he was merging from Stoughton Rd. onto the Beltline when a passenger in the suspect's pickup truck threw a handful of change at him through his open driver's side window. The victim said he followed the truck. At one point, he pulled up near the suspect's window and could see he was pointing a weapon at him. The frightened teen backed off and called police.

Officers later located the truck. They arrested both the driver and his female passenger. A handgun was recovered from inside the cab. The passenger also had a knife in her handbag. She denied the coin tossing and told police the other driver had actually cut them off and given them the finger.
