Victim: Male, age 18, Madison
Victim suffered two non life-threatening gunshot wounds.


The preliminary investigation indicates there had been a fight between several men that took place outside of a house party. Shortly after it broke up, a car drove by, and witnesses believe the gunshots came from within the vehicle. The 18-year old victim says he was not involved in the earlier disturbance, and that he and friends were outside of the party when shots were fired. Madison Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 100 block of E Gorham St shortly after 2am on 01/12/14.  Officers on-scene observed numerous shell casings in the area. One male was located on-scene with a gunshot wound.  MFD transported him to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Suspect(s) fled prior to police arrival. Investigation is on-going.
