Teen was taken to the Juvenile Reception Center on a tentative charge of Disorderly Conduct while Armed.

Male, age 29

A young teen was arrested Friday night after pulling a gun on a roller skate rink manager. The 29-year old employee had just kicked the suspect out of the Fast Forward Skate Center, 4649 Verona Rd., after for breaking rink rules: hanging out in a designated skate area without skates on. The 13-year old got mouthy with the manager, and continued to loiter on rink property, although outside of the building. The victim went outside to encourage the young man to move along and that is when the gun was pulled. The boy threatened the manager, and the manager fled back inside the rink. The weapon was recovered outside a nearby restaurant. It turned out to be a BB gun, but looked very much like a real handgun. The suspect was arrested inside the restaurant. He later told police he wanted to "scare" the rink manager.
