A Middleton teenager was arrested at East Towne Mall Wednesday afternoon while in the midst of a shopping spree, financed by credit cards stolen this week from a west side health club. The suspect tried to assume the identity of one of the victims while being questioned by officers. Tucked in his socks were several credit cards belonging to two men, both of whom had wallets stolen while working out Monday at the Princeton Club, 8080 Watts Rd. One victim, a 23-year old Madison man, told police one of his cards had over $2,000 in fraudulent charges racked up on it in the past two days. He was in possession of new electronics, watches, and tennis shoes at the time of his arrest.
