DetailsAs soon as he got off of the bus Tuesday afternoon, the 20-year old downtown resident realized he had left his iPhone inside. So, he boarded the bus again, but could not find the phone. He asked other passengers at the West Transfer Point if they had seen it, and none had.
Several hours later, the tech-savvy victim used tracking software to determine the phone was currently in the liquor department Copps Food Center, 620 S. Whitney Way. There he saw a man who had been on the bus with him.
The victim and a female friend tried to nicely inquire about the phone, but this enraged the suspect. Outside of the store, he clenched his fists and threatened to hit the victims.
Frightened, they called police as the suspect got on a bus. Officers tracked it down, made the arrest, and the victim got his iPhone back.
