Some say you can't fight city hall, and it now appears if you fight in city hall, you can be banned from city hall.

Such was the case for two men Monday morning. One accused the other of "messing with his girlfriend." The other said he wanted nothing to do with the man or his girlfriend. The exchange deteriorated into a brawl with the men exchanging punches and tumbling onto the City County Building floor. Blows were being delivered just outside of the City Clerk's office and the Parks Department, both of which are just up a first floor hallway from the Dane County Public Safety Communication Center. And it happened to be a 911 dispatcher who was one of the first on the scene. He was able to grab the arm of one combatant and drag him away as Central District police officers responded from one floor below. A Dane County Facilities Management official, who also works nearby, said both men will now be banned from the building.

If they don't like that, they can fight city hall about fighting in city hall.
