Shortly after 1:30pm, The Madison Police Department was dispatched to the 400 block of West Washington Avenue reference a subject who fell from a scaffolding platform that was elevated approximately four stories high or 40-50 feet! The 24-year-old male was allegedly working on the elevated platform, and investigations are ongoing as to what actually occurred, or what was responsible for the male falling. The victim was rushed to a nearby emergency room, and no other details are being released at this time. Occupational Safety and Health Administration Investigators were called to the scene to conduct their inquest into this matter. This case continues to be investigated by all responding agencies.
