A third victim, a 20-year-old Madison woman, has reported being sexually assaulted by the suspect in a downtown apartment last year, in 2015.
Detectives will be recommending the suspect face additional charges of second degree sexual assault and false imprisonment.
The suspect turned himself into Central District detectives last night and has been tentatively charged with the sexual assault of a second victim. A 20-yar-old woman came forward after the initial arrest and told investigators she was also sexually assaulted by the suspect in a downtown apartment last February.
She told a detective, "I saw the news story and was empowered by another girl being able to tell what happened to her, that I thought I could now finally tell."
In the second case, the suspect was arrested for two counts of second degree sexual assault and one count of third degree sexual assault.

DetailsA 20-year-old downtown resident has been arrested for the sexual assault of a woman last week. The victim, also 20, was acquainted with the suspect, and attacked inside his apartment in the 500 block of N. Henry St. on the night of October 12th. The suspect was arrested yesterday on a number of tentative charges which are listed above. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 266-6014.
