Details

He wanted a fresh coiffure for Christmas, but ended up with his head shaved and his ear bloodied. While it is not a crime to give someone a bad haircut, you will get arrested for intentionally snipping their ear with a scissors.

Such was the case last Friday afternoon when a 22-year-old downtown resident went into a State St. salon to visit a stylist. He requested sides of his head be sculpted with a number two clipper, and that a scissors be used to take an inch off the top.

He knew his new hairdo was not going well when the stylist began twisting his ear while accusing him of fidgeting and moving his head, neither of which he believed he was doing.

The victim says things really went south when the stylist "snipped" his ear with a scissors, and then placed a "zero" attachment on the clippers. He was starting to bleed when the "zero" was used to cut a close path down the middle of his head, leaving him looking a bit like Larry from the "Three Stooges."

At that point, the customer had enough and got up to leave. As he departed, he says the stylist kept shouting, "you want a zero right?"

Well he didn't, but to even things out, he had his head shaved - elsewhere - for the holidays. Before heading back home, he called police about the stylist, who ended up getting arrested for mayhem and disorderly conduct while armed, despite claiming this had all been an accident.
