A Madison couple feared an angry man wearing brass knuckles was going to smash out the window of their car Saturday afternoon following a road-rage incident on Hayes Rd. Moments earlier, the female victim had yelled at the other driver to slowdown: there are kids in the neighborhood. She and her fiancé were just pulling out of their driveway, when the suspect zoomed past. He responded to her request to back off of the pedal with vulgarities. Once she and her fiancé were on the roadway, the woman said the suspect turned his pickup truck around and drove at them in the wrong traffic lane, forcing them to come to a stop. That's when he got out and came at them with the brass knuckles. The woman's fiancé was able to talk the man down while she called the MPD. The suspect was located and arrested on tentative charges listed above.
