Kenneth W. House, Jr., age 19, Madison
Suspect was arrested for burglary with person lawfully present in dwelling.

Female, age 42, Madison

Prints lifted from a home burglary scene by a MPD forensic investigator in August of 2016 had sat in the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) without a match. That changed recently when a suspect was arrested on unrelated charges. His prints were entered into AFIS, and bingo there was a match. So, yesterday the MPD's Burglary Crime Unit arrested Kenneth W. House, Jr., age 19, Madison. He is accused of entering an unlocked patio door on Annestown Dr. in the early morning hours of August, 5, 2016. The homeowner, a 44-year-old Madison man had gone out for a morning run, leaving the door unlocked. His 42-year-old partner was upstairs sleeping. When he returned from his exercise regime, he spotted a car in front of his home. There were two men nearby, and a third suddenly came sprinting away from his house. He soon discovered a cellphone and electronics were taken from his home, but the suspect also left something behind: his fingerprints.
