2800 block N. Sherman Ave.


 A 77-year-old Madison woman and her 78-year-old husband had just finished their workout at a local health club Friday evening, and were driving home, when an intoxicated man in dark clothing suddenly showed up in the middle of the roadway. The woman said she was driving about 25 mph on N. Sherman Ave. when her car struck with the pedestrian. She was very concerned for his welfare. The injured man was taken to a hospital with a broken pelvis and fractured vertebrae. He was cited failure to yield to a vehicle.
