Three cars were hit with light blue paintballs Monday afternoon as a dark colored SUV sped along S. Gammon Rd. One mother was at an ATM drive-thru near Mineral Point Rd. when her car was hit. Splatter from one paintball ended up in the hair of her six-year-old child. Another car was struck near Odana Rd. as its driver was waiting at a red light. She said one paintball came through an open window and nearly struck her. A third driver said she had just passed the intersection with Odana Road - while going south on S. Gammon Rd. - when her car was hit. She said those shooting the paintballs headed eastbound on the W. Beltline Highway.

The SUV is possibly a Chevrolet Equinox.

Investigators are looking at similarities between what happened Monday and paintball incidents that were reported Saturday night.
