DetailsFour men were arrested; two guns and drug evidence were seized as local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies conducted a surveillance operation in Fitchburg yesterday.
Ongoing investigations into weapons cases and drug trafficking are being led by the Dane County Narcotics Task Force (DCNTF). Additional tentative criminal charges are expected.
On Monday, three men were arrested for probation violations:
- Marquis D. Hamilton, age 19, Fort Atkinson
- Amond D. Galtney, age 21, Chicago
- Gordie J. Wright, age 19, Fitchburg.
Apprehensions took place in and around a residence in the 1900 block of Pike Drive.
Supporting DCNTF's operation were the Madison Police Department's Violent Crime Unit, the MPD's Gang Unit, Fitchburg Police, the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation, U.S. Marshals, K9 units from Verona Police Dept., Fitchburg Police Dept., and Maple Bluff Police Dept.
