On August 19th, at approximately 11:18 pm, Madison Police Officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Third Ave on Madison's south side, for a strong armed robbery investigation. The vitim was delivering pizzas to that area, when the suspect walked from behind a building and said the pizzas were for him. The suspect pretended to text people telling the driver that he was getting the money for the pizzas. After waiting for a few minutes, the pizza delivery driver turned around to leave in his vehicle, at which time the suspect knocked the driver to the pavement. The suspect punched the driver in the face  a few times threatening the driver to give him all of the money. The driver handed over a very small amount of money and then drove away from the scene. The driver sustained some facial injuries and was treated and released at a local area hospital. Attempts were made to try and locate the suspect, but the suspect is still at large at this time.
