Suspect was arrested for burglary and operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent.


 A pickup truck crash in Sun Prairie Tuesday night led to a burglary investigation in Madison.

Sun Prairie Police developed information that Keysha M. Mabra, age 38, had likely stolen the vehicle from Midwest Autoplex, 718 Ruskin St.  

She crashed it around 9:10 p.m.

The owner of the automotive wholesaler was notified. He and went his business and determined the truck, several dealer plates and a metal box containing keys to around 20 vehicles had been stolen in a burglary.

The stolen items were recovered at the crash site.

The MPD developed probable cause to arrest the driver for burglary and operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent. Sun Prairie Police are handling the crash and any tentative charges which may result from it.
