The teens face a tentative charge of operating a motor vehicle without consent – party to a crime.

Five teens took off running early this morning after crashing a stolen car near the intersection of East Springs Dr. and East Towne Blvd. Unfortunately for them, the MPD was conducting a K9 training nearby. Two police dogs quickly helped officers locate, and keep the suspects from running off again, after boys were found hiding around a garbage dumpster.
The car they crashed was stolen during a burglary in the 2300 block of Bedner Rd. this past Saturday.
The MPD has arrested all of the teens in the past, and made referrals against them to the Juvenile Reception Center. They were taken to the JRC again early this morning on tentative charges of operating a motor vehicle without consent – party to a crime.
