DetailsAt approximately 1:25 AM the Stop 'n Go convenience store located in the 2000 block of Winnebago St. was robbed. The robbery was reported by the clerk who stated the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money. She was then ordered to wait in a back room while the suspect fled. The clerk was not injured during this incident. The suspect was described as a dark complected black male in his late 20's to early 30's. He was estimated to be 5'8" tall and was wearing a mask and dark colored clothing. A K9 track was completed but officers were unable to locate the suspect. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
