Jerry B. Somaiah, age 20, Madison
Somaiah was arrested for criminal damage to property and underage person possess of consume alcohol off of licensed premises.


 When the first officer arrived on scene he saw a young man raising a wooden chair over his head and smashing it down on a parked car. There were several other broken wooden chairs around the heavily damaged vehicle. A damaged motorcycle was also nearby and on the ground. The drunken suspect was confronted at Taser point. He initially thought he was in a parking lot near his Spring St. home, and thought the car was parked in the wrong spot. Having realized what he had done, he was very apologetic, saying he made a "very bad decision." Officers located the car's owner. Upon seeing what had happened, he was shaken, estimating damage at around $5,000. The motorcycle's owner was also found. He placed the cost of fixing his bike at $1,000.
