Details

The Madison Police Department responded to a report of a man stabbed in the 2500 block of Calypso.  A male was located there with a stab wound to the chest.  He was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated.  The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

Investigating officers learned the male had tried to break up a disturbance at that location when he was stabbed.  The suspect fled on foot.  Officers are continuing to investigate this incident and develop leads as to the identity of the suspect.  If anyone has knowledge of this incident they are encouraged to contact the Madison Police Department or the Madison area Crimestoppers program.
