DetailsThe Madison Police Department responded to the 300 block of S. Brearly St after receiving multiple calls of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officer did locate evidence that shots had been fired in the street. There were no injuries reported, however an unoccupied residence in the 900 block of Williamson St was struck.
While officers were investigating this incident a 29 year old male Madison resident contacted MPD stating he and his vehicle had been shot at in the 300 block of S. Brearly St. Officers responded to his east side residence and recovered evidence consistent with his vehicle being struck with at least one bullet. This subject was not injured. This incident remains under investigation.
