K-9 UNIT: Officer Jeff Felt with Gildon

K-9 Unit

Gildon is a German Shepherd who was born in Germany in October, 2004. He was imported to the U.S. and has been trained to do a variety of tasks including locating drugs, people and evidence. Gildon is a social, intelligent and loyal friend. He and his partner, Officer Jeff Felt, have been working together since early 2006. Officer Felt has been a Madison police officer since 1998.

Gildon's addition to the MPD K9 unit was made possible by Veridian.
