Mounted Patrol

The Madison Police Department Mounted Unit currently has two full-time officers and two part-time officers. The unit regularly works in the downtown area, to help manage bar crowds and other issues. Mounted officers also work special events, assist in search and rescue efforts, and make community/public appearances.
