Notices:

• August 7, 2008: Sand Bag Disposal Information, Now that things have dried out, people who used sand bags in the Madison area are looking to get rid of them.
• Dane County Governments Eligible for Federal Assistance, The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that residents wishing to apply for federal assistance with damages or loses caused by storms and flooding between June 5 and July 25, 2008, have until Monday, September 15, 2008 to complete their application.

The application deadline for individuals and households applying federal assistance is AUGUST 13, 2008!

• Storm Damage: The City of Madison is collecting private property storm-related damage in the event FEMA assistance becomes available to our area. Please note that any such assistance would be administered directly by FEMA.
