and flexibility, build strength and balance? Then this eight-week class
is for you! Two class times to choose from Mondays, June 9, 6:30
– 7:30 pm or Wednesdays, June 11, 10:15-11:15am. The cost is $40. Advance
registration is necessary, call 266-6581. Google 101 Workshop. On Friday, July 11, beginning at 9:30, learn about the search tool – Google. This hands-on class gives a brief introduction, highlighting various features that make your results appear the way you want. Also covered are methods to refine your search and hidden tools which are present in Google many of which everyday users are not aware of. The cost is $5. Get ready to balance on the fall equinox. This four-week class
begins Tuesdays,
August 5,
from 12:30 – 2:30 pm. It
is led by Alita Lisbeth, Catholic sister & companion-explorer.

Painting Class. Take
home a finished oil painting in this six-hour class.
Learn to prepare your canvas, mix colors and several brush stokes
for a landscape that includes trees, clouds, and, water. If meets on Friday,
June 20, from 9 am - 3 pm.

The cost is $40 for persons over 55 ($45 for those younger.)

Art Class. Artisans
have used nano-sized particles of silver and gold for hundreds of years
to create colored pieces of stained glass.
In this two-week class design and create a faux stained glass sun
catcher that combines ancient techniques with modern technologies. See
how closely art and science are connected.
The class meets Thursdays, June 5 & 12, from 1 – 3
pm. The
cost is $8 and includes all supplies.

Art. Wisconsin is a
state that has some of the most documented outsider artists.
Take a viual tour of some of these artists amazing works.
Create your own outsider piece of art and give new life to
recycled objects. The class
meets Thursdays, July 17 and 24, from 1 – 3 pm.

Piano
Lessons.
Whether you are a beginner
or just want to brush up, this class is for you.
Each Wednesday, individual
lessons are offered. The
cost is $50 for four weeks. Sketching Outdoors Class This eight-week class is held outdoors at various locations around Madison. The class is appropriate for all levels and all media are acceptable, materials that are easily carried would be best. It begins Wednesday, July 2, from 1-4 p.m. The cost is $82. The Brain.
This
video-class looks into complex organ, the Brain and shows how it works!
It is amazing that this small mass of tissue is the source of our
personalities, dreams, movements and much more.
And scientists are still discovering it’s mysteries.
Taught by Prof. Jeanette Norden, Vanderbilt University.
Part 1 of this two-part class begins Monday, June 23, from
12 – 1:30 pm.
