2010 Operating Budget Will Change

Streets Division Services

The 2010 Operating Budget made two significant changes to services provided by the Streets Division.  Those changes are

1) Reduction in the frequency of Large Item Collection

The Streets Division currently collects large items weekly.  The 2010 Operating Budget changes large items to an every other week service similar to recycling.  Large items would be collected the week opposite your recycling.  You will receive a collection calendar with your 2010 Recyclopedia in late December.

2) End of scheduled Brush Collection

The Streets Division currently collects brush monthly from April through October according to a schedule.  The 2010 Operating Budget ends the brush collection schedule.  The Streets Division would conduct brush collection from April 5th through October 15th, but there would be no schedule.  The collection would follow the same rotation as our leaf collection. 

There would be no change to the annual Christmas tree collection.
