Doing Business Administrative Office: Questions regarding General Questions? Who do I call if my sewer backs up? |
WHY THE PLAN? The group, initially lead by a consultant from EMA, was composed of Water Commissioners Jon Standridge, Alder Lauren Cnare, citizens Lynn Williams, Karl Patzer, Dan Melton, and Lily Irwin Vitela. The citizen members' insight was especially valuable because they lived or worked in an area served by a well that was performing unsatisfactorily - Wells 3, 10 and 29, Meeting were attended by Madison Water Utility staff General Manager David Denig-Chakroff and Water Quality Manager Joseph Grande, as well as periodically attended by the Water Board President Priscilla Mather. This draft Plan was presented to the Board of Water Commissioners at its May 15th for examination over the next month. The Plan, to be successful and satisfactory to citizens, needs citizen reaction and input. It is being posted on the Web site for citizens to review and offer comment before the Water Board acts on the plan at its June 19, 2007 meeting. Please direct comments should be directed to Commissioners Jon Standrige and/or Alder Lauren Cnare. Please indicate your comments by identifying the page number and section. If you would prefer a phone conversation, send an e-mail to either Commissioner with your numbers and a good time to call. Citizens are encouraged to attend the June 19 Water Board meeting at 4:35 pm at the Madison Water Utility 119 East Olin Avenue, Madison WI 53713. Thank you for participating in this effort to provide improved customer service to all customers of Madison Water Utility. |
