Madison, WI - Madison Water Utility is releasing its Annual Drinking Water Quality Report to coincide with National Drinking Water Week, which runs from May 4-10.
04/18/2008 WATER UTILITY SUBMITS RATE REQUEST
Madison-Madison Water Utility has submitted a rate increase request to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW) for review. The Utility is asking PSCW to authorize an 18% increase in water rates.

01/29/2008 Water Board Meeting Cancelled
The meeting of the Water Board scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today, January 29, has been cancelled due to bad weather advisory. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

At 9:10 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 the Madison Water Utility determined that the residual chlorine level at Unit Well 26 dropped below the Utility's established minimum level of 0.15 mg/L to 0.14 mg/L.
11/08/2007 WATER SYSTEM LOW PRESSURE EVENT IN SOUTHWEST
Madison - On Wednesday night and into Thursday morning customers in a limited section of the southwest part of the City of Madison experienced low water pressure.

Madison Water Utility will be conducting a 21-day pump test of the deep well at Unit Well 29 on Madison's east side.

10/23/2007 WATER SYSTEM LOW PRESSURE EVENT IN SOUTHWEST
Madison-On Sunday night, October 21, from about 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., customers in the southwest part of the City of Madison experienced low pressure or no water during water main flushing operations.
10/17/2007 WATER SYSTEM FLUSHING CONTINUES
Madison-During the week of October 21, Madison Water Utility will continue its water main flushing program with a combination of night and day-time flushing.
