Bird and Nature Walk at Lakeshore Preserve - March 22
Location(s):
Meet at the Eagle Heights Community Gardens entrance one block up the hill from University Bay Drive, park across the street in the first lot and walk over. We will celebrate the Spring Equinox and stroll through the gardens, woods and prairie and along the lake to enjoy the sights and sounds of early spring migratory birds. Is that a Loon calling on the lake? Are Bluebirds staking claims to their boxes? Dogs are not permitted on these walks. Volunteer co-leaders welcome. Contact: Paul Noeldner (608) 698-0104. Walks at UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve the 4th Sunday every month are co-sponsored by Madison Bird City partners: Friends of UW Lakeshore Preserve and Madison Audubon.
