Date & Time:
Saturday, January 18, 2020 - 10:30am to 12:00pm
Location(s):
Central Library
201 W Mifflin St
Madison, WI

Communication's Justice Club will be joining forces with Solarpunk Surf Club to experience the current exhibition, Graen Room, in the 3rd floor gallery. Justice Club is a service-learning art project for elementary school-aged artists who want to empower others by expressing themselves. We will provide supplies and guidance for kids to create collage pages that illustrate who they are as art-makers and young members of the community.

The current installation is Grean Room - an exhibition by Solarpunk Surf Club. ""Græn R∞m is a public living room for conviviality and utopian (re)creation. Guests are invited to read, rest, play, and socialize in a cozy, communal environment.""

Grace Olson is a childcare worker, mixed media artist and musician based in Madison. She is a member of the L.U.N.A (Latinas Unidas En Las Artes) collective, a Milwaukee based group of Latinx artists who support each other in pursuing visibility and opportunity.
