Kids Code Madison

Date & Time:
Thursday, September 28, 2017 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm
Hawthorne Library
2707 E. Washington Ave
Madison, WI

Upper elementary (4th and 5th Grade) and middle school students are invited to Kids Code Madison, a weekly, drop-in coding club. A volunteer-led program, youth can program their own interactive stories, games, and animations using programs and tools like Scratch and Trinket. New and experienced kid programmers welcome!
Special note: Programming activities are not appropriate for younger elementary school kids. Kids Code Madison is a club, not a class, so you can come any week, anytime. New programmers will be given some direction with tutorials and help from volunteers. Experienced programmers can work on ongoing projects, start something new, help a friend, or practice the “sushi” (mini, bit sized) skill of the day.
