Madison Parks is teaming up with the Madison Area Weed Warriors (MAWW) to bring you Learn to Identify and Remove Invasive Species! MAWW is devoted to conservation by removing trash and invasive species from the Madison area. Participants in this workshop will hear an informative presentation at the Olin Park Pavilion with an open discussion.
The main focus of this learn to event is how to identify Garlic Mustard and the removal of this invasive species. Other invasive species will be discussed as well. This event is lead by Madison Area Weed Warriors Founder, Tammy Bieberstein.
Once the presentation and discussion has concluded the entire group will have the opportunity and to head into Turville Woods to identify and remove invasive species. We will provide bags and gloves for the cleanup.
