Physician: Dr. Blaise Nemeth and Ellen Houston

Topic: Adding a Little Core to Your Walks

Dr. Blaise Nemeth is an American Family Children’s Hospital pediatric orthopedist who evaluates, diagnoses, and treats many pediatric musculoskeletal conditions. He focuses on correcting walking issues in children, and spends a lot of time educating and reassuring parents about these issues. Ellen Houston is a clinical exercise physiologist at UW Health, currently setting up exercise programs for children aged 4 to 20. She also does Pediatric Stress Tests for Preventive Cardiology at the American Family Children's Hospital, and previously has worked in adult fitness and Cardiac Rehabilitation.

Join Dr. Nemeth and Ellen to learn how to add some core to your walk! Make your walks more of a workout with their helpful facts and tips. Then try out their techniques as you walk through the beautiful Owen Conservation Park on this summer night. The walk will occur rain or shine.
