Public meetings scheduled to review Madison Beltline Study Draft Strategy Packages
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region is hosting a public involvement meeting for the Madison Beltline Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) Study. The meetings will provide an update on the status of the study and gather input.
During the meeting, WisDOT will review the Draft Strategy Packages assembled to address long term safety, accessibility, operational, and infrastructure concerns on approximately 20 miles of US 12/14/18/151 (Beltline) extending from US 14 (city of Middleton) to County N (town of Cottage Grove) in Dane County.

This is an invitation to attend  the upcoming public involvement meetings where we will review the priorities for potential improvements being considered for the corridor and to gather feedback which will be used to assist in determining the potential long-term solutions for the corridor. The same material will be presented at both meetings, providing the public a choice for which meeting works best in their schedule.

Wednesday, June 7
5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
(Presentation at 5:30 p.m.)
Boys and Girls Club of Dane County
4619 Jenewein Road, Fitchburg

Please note that the PEL study is a long-term planning study and no construction projects are identified at this time.

The public plays an important role in the study process, and we encourage anyone that travels the Beltline to attend one of the two meetings to learn about the study process and provide insights and feedback.
For more information, please visit the study website at: www.bit.ly/BeltlinePEL.

If you’re unable to attend one of these meetings, the presentation and display materials will be available for review on the project website at www.wisconsindot.gov (search Madison Beltline Study) beginning Thursday, June 8. On this page, you will be able to watch the presentation video, view the individual displays, take a short survey, and provide feedback via the comment form.
