Notice from Parks:

We are pleased to announce the first phase of the Lake Monona Waterfront Design Challenge is nearing completion.

The three participating teams are busy finalizing their master plan submissions, which they will present at a public event on Thursday, January 26, at the Central Library. This is the first unveiling of the three options, each representing fourteen weeks of diligent work by the selected teams. On the 26th, food and music begin at 5:30 pm, with the team presentations starting at 6 pm. This in-person event will also be live-streamed via the Madison City Channel for online viewing. The teams will present their master plan options and take questions from attendees and online viewers.

The event starts an eight-week master plan public review and comment phase, during which Parks will gather community comments and feedback on the three plans. This information will help guide the Lake Monona Ad-hoc Committee in selecting a preferred master plan to advance in the process.
