Personal COVID Update

Hello friends and neighbors!

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago. Though my case was mild, it was rough. I am past my 14-day quarantine and active infection, and am still recovering. This process is taking longer than I expected, as it is for many who have gone through COVID. I am still dealing with exhaustion and getting winded very easily.


I am using as much time to read and answer messages, as well as work on policy items. Please be patient while I try to get back to anyone who has messaged me, and if you have a concern that needs immediate attention, please add "TIME SENSITIVE" at the beginning on your subject line.

I also want to use this opportunity to encourage everyone to take COVID seriously. Like I said, my case was relatively mild, but was very difficult to get through, and continues to be hard to fully recover. Please continue to follow the guidance of Public Health, by isolating, minimizing contact with those who are outside your household, washing your hands and wearing a mask if you have to leave your house.

Please take care of yourselves during this time, and stay healthy.
