Metro Route Changes/F-35 City Resolution

April 4, 2018 3:57 PM

Metro Route 21 Proposed Changes

Metro Transit is proposing a few changes to Route 21 which provides service on the Northside. It removes the southbound right turn onto Londonderry Drive and therefore reduces the number of stops to one above Londonderry Drive and one at Manley Street.

Route 21 Proposed Changes

The City of Madison Transit and Parking Commission will be holding a Public Hearing on Wednesday, April 11 at 6:00pm in Room 201 of the City-County Building.

You can also provide written comments which will be provided to Commission members.

F-35 Resolution

Some Alders have introduced a resolution declaring the Common Council's intent to submit comments to the Air National Guard about the F-35 Operational Beddown Environmental Impact Statement.

The resolution will be discussed at the April 10 Common Council meeting. At this point there is no detail of the resolution, however, I expect that it will enable the City to collect public feedback and provide it en mass to the Air National Guard.

If you have comments about this resolution, you can email me at lpalm@cityofmadison.com or the entire council at allalders@cityofmadison.com

I hope you have a great start to the Spring (even with this wintery weather!)

Larry
