1802-1818 Packers Avenue Affordable Housing - New Men's Shelter Neighborhood Meeting

Dear Neighbor,

Liberty Mortgage & Development Company has proposed to build an affordable workforce housing development at 1802-1818 Packers Avenue. The project would be located at the corner of Packers Avenue and Schlimgen Avenue (vacant former Hertz Rent-A-Car lot). Proposed is a 68-unit workforce affordable development in a four-story building containing 37 one-bedroom, 20 two bedroom and 11 three-bedroom units. The exterior building design is unchanged from a previous presentation Liberty Mortgage & Development Company provided the Neighborhood Association on November 26, 2019, and updated on July 6, 2020.

A virtual meeting with the developer and City staff will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, December 8th at 6 PM. You can join the virtual meeting using your computer, smartphone or tablet, or you can listen in via telephone.

New Men's Shelter- Neighborhood Meeting

Please join me, Alder Heck and Alder Rummel for a virtual neighborhood meeting where we will have a discussion with City staff and the shelter operator about the temporary use of 200 N. First Street as an overnight shelter operation serving men experiencing homelessness.
