Over the last few days I've received some emails that prompted me to do something a little different. While I'm always happy to help people connect with city services, our website has some pretty terrific resources that are available to all residents.

I thought I would highlight a few of them. This list is certainly not comprehensive, but is a response to some of the request I get for information.  Hope this helps you when you're searching for some information.

Report A Problem 

A general "catch all" of concerns, observations, praise and complaints. Some of the topics that you can "Report A Problem" include:

Search City Legislation

The city uses something called Legistrar to track pending legislation for the Madison Common Council and committess. Here you can seach for different items and find out the status and more information about the details.

Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP)

Want a Speed Hump, Traffic Circle or curb bump-outs for your street? Here's the place to start to learn about the process, what is an isn't done in the city as well as a Frequently Asked Questions section.

Reserve A Park Shelter 

Want to reserve a shelter in one of our parks? Here's all the information you need. BTW, tomorrow Nov 10 begins the lottery for 2016!

Our city's Econominc Development division is here to help. Starting a business, looking for a job or buying a new home? There may be assistance for you!

Where Do I Vote? 

The City Clerk is the place to find out where you vote, as well as when elections happen.

Apply for A Job in the City 

Our Human Resources Department maintains a list of all current jobs available, including an online application process.
