Election officials are only able to count absentee ballots that are received by Election Day, per state law. Voters who have yet to return an absentee ballot to the Clerk’s Office have six options:

Edgewood College is an early voting location all this week. If you haven't voted yet and are intending to vote in-person, you may vote at Wingra Commons in Predolin Hall this week, from 10AM to 2PM.

Due to thunderstorms, in-person absentee voting will only be indoors today.

I can't ignore the spectacle we were subjected to Tuesday night. The "debate" was a low-water mark in our democracy. Rather than dwelling on it to the point of despair, let's choose to double down on our own expressions of participatory democracy.

Our neighbor, Dane County Circuit Court Judge Jill Karofsky, has been officially elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. 

I'm proud to be Jill's alder and offer her my heartfelt congratulations.

Many of you are upset. 

I get it. So am I. 

The communication below from the Wisconsin Election Commission to Clerks indicates that whether tomorrow's election takes place or not is still up in the air. It is possible that the State Supreme Court could overturn Gov.

CORRECTION: The new date for in-person voting is June 9.

In case you haven't heard, Gov. Evers has suspended tomorrow's in-person voting until June 7.

Unfortunately, a federal judge late yesterday declined to postpone the election but did make some changes.
